Hi! My name is Frank Stapleton and I am the co-inventor of the Screensweep. Chances are you have used my invention to clear the dust off your computer monitor. Millions of Screensweeps have been sold since 1998 and are still selling today.

My pursuit of inventing began several years after I got laid off from my job, along with several hundred other engineers. Losing my job in 1991 turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I made more money in 2- years than I did in the 21 years I worked for the company that laid me off.

My first invention averaged $24,000 a month in royalties not long after it came on the market and a little over $24,000 a month the following year.

Since my first invention, I have managed to get four more inventions on the market, and although that may not sound like a lot of inventions compared to some inventors, I have never spent more than a couple hundred dollars to get all my inventions on the market -- and I have never paid for a patent although I have several patents.

Right now, I'm working on a product with a young lady and the first manufacturer we sent it to expressed an interest. If it turns out to be a "hot product" like my first product, this young lady won't have to work for several years. This will give her plenty of time to come up with a new idea before the royalties run out. That's what's so great about inventing: you only have to get that first idea on the market!

Getting a new idea on the market is a lot easier than you might think, especially, if your idea is a simple one. I'm not exactly sure how other inventors get their products on the market, but from what I can see, it looks way too complicated, and expensive. It really doesn't have to be that way.
